For the most part, I find other grandparents at playgrounds very subdued and tending to get in and out pretty fast. But last year I witnessed a grandfather yelling at what appeared to be a child he wasn't related to and then a little boy in a sweet little Spiderman costume sobbing in a woman's arms. It was only one incident, but it led my mind to wander.
