To me the big red flags for AI were lack of detail and lack of authorial voice. Plus bizarre usage. Nonetheless, I had seen the example you gave and was sucked in. I think I even checked to see what else she had written. I thought I had a little anti-AI campaign going, but clearly I need to step it up a couple of notches.
